Dubai-dependent product sales agency Cercamon has picked up worldwide legal rights to “Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell” by initial-time characteristic director Pham Thien An. The movie will have its international premiere upcoming thirty day period in the Administrators Fortnight part of the Cannes movie pageant.
Pham Thien An formerly built small movies “The Mute” in 2018 and the 1-consider “Stay Awake, Be Ready” in 2019. Amidst this heartbreaking job, Thien also will take care of his nephew, Dao, a five-calendar year-aged survivor of the accident. As they traverse the mystical landscapes of rural Vietnam, Thien embarks on a quest to discover his extended-dropped brother and reunite him with Dao, a journey that ultimately potential customers him to problem his faith.

The film is developed by Vietnam’s JK Film and Singapore’s Potocol in coproduction with France’s Deuxième Ligne Films and Spain’s Fasten Films. It was supported by the Singapore Film Fee, Purin Shots, Normandie Images and the Hubert Bals Script & Improvement Scheme. It was also presented at Cannes Concentration COPRO’ in 2019 and the Locarno Open Doors Hub in 2020, exactly where it was awarded a grant for development assist from Visions Sud Est.
